Hawkeye Star Hailee Steinfeld Marries NFL MVP Josh Allen in Intimate California Wedding
Hollywood met the NFL this weekend, and the internet can’t stop talking about it.
Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld married Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in a romantic and intimate ceremony in California on Saturday, May 31. The couple who first sparked dating rumors back in May 2023 kept their wedding under wraps until photos started flooding Instagram and fan pages.
A Picture Perfect Moment
In the viral wedding photos, Steinfeld stunned in a white strapless gown, paired with long opera gloves and a flowing tulle veil. She wore her hair in a classic updo as she walked down the aisle, glowing with elegance. Allen kept it traditional in a tailored black tuxedo, looking every bit the MVP he was earlier this year.
From Rumors to Red Carpet
The couple went Instagram official in July 2024, and got engaged in November that year. Allen popped the question in Malibu, Steinfeld’s self described “happy place,” surrounded by roses, candles, and ocean views. They announced the engagement with a joint photo of Allen down on one knee, captioned simply with the date “Nov. 22” and a pair of infinity symbols.
In an interview with Who What Wear, Steinfeld revealed she was totally surprised by the proposal.
“Oh my God, no! You talk to your girlfriends about that, right, where you’re like, ‘I just don’t want to know.’ It was magical.”
She added with a laugh,
“I’m so grateful he did it the way he did… now we have these beautiful photos I’m not going to look back on and cringe about my outfit!”
Their MVP Moment
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 14th Annual NFL Honors in February, where Allen was named the 2025 Most Valuable Player. In a moment fans are still talking about, he kissed Steinfeld before accepting the award and said during his speech:
“You’ve been my rock. You’re my best friend. I wouldn’t be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
