26-Year-Old Woman Wanted After Fatal Shooting in Georgia – Manhunt Underway
Authorities in northeast Georgia have launched an active manhunt for a 26-year-old woman suspected of fatally shooting another woman in Royston, a quiet town in Hart County. The victim, 34-year-old Breiana Danielle Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday afternoon, May 31.
What Happened
According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency responders were dispatched to a home on Barton Road around 4:49 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Johnson with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have since identified Greata Nichole Thomas, also known as Greata Nichole Mobley, as the primary suspect in the case.

Authorities say Thomas may still be driving the vehicle and is considered armed and dangerous.
Public Warning
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public not to approach the suspect if spotted. Instead, individuals with any information are encouraged to call 911 or contact the Sheriff’s Office directly at 706-376-3114.
“We are asking for the community’s help in locating this suspect,” said a spokesperson for the department. “She should be considered dangerous and should not be approached under any circumstances.”
Connected Cases
In a concerning development, law enforcement officials are also investigating a separate homicide case near Omer Bond Road, just a few miles away from the Barton Road scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether the two cases are connected but are urging residents to avoid the area as investigations are ongoing.
